Welcome to Berkeley Court Hotel

Located in the heart of London at 22 Upper Berkeley Street, the Berkeley Court Hotel offers travelers an affordable and straightforward accommodation option. With its modest 2.2 rating, this hotel serves as a budget-friendly choice for those seeking a brief stay in a bustling, prosperous residential area known for chic boutiques, quality restaurants, and iconic attractions like Madame Tussauds.

The Berkeley Court Hotel is best described as “cheap and cheerful.” It provides essential amenities such as Wi-Fi and maintains a smoke-free environment, but it lacks conveniences like free parking, a pool, fitness center, pet-friendly services, or airport shuttles. Guests looking for luxury or extensive facilities might be disappointed, but those prioritizing cost and central location will find its value compelling.

Visitor Frazer Holroyd famously highlighted the hotel’s no-frills appeal, emphasizing that while it isn’t the fanciest stay in London, it perfectly met his needs for a one-night visit. This candid assessment underlines the hotel’s core strength: practical accommodation without unnecessary extravagance.

Stepping outside, guests can immerse themselves in a vibrant neighborhood brimming with local charm and cultural landmarks. The proximity to Madame Tussauds adds a unique touch for tourists keen on exploring London’s renowned attractions.

In summary, the Berkeley Court Hotel stands as a pragmatic choice that balances cost, location, and essential comfort. It is ideal for travelers who value economic efficiency over luxury. For those seeking a straightforward, centrally-located base to explore London, this hotel fulfills its promise with honest simplicity.

Cheap & cheerful are the exact words to describe this place! It was by far the cheapest option for a hotel in central London which I needed for a 1 night stay, and it served its purpose! Do not expect this to be the fanciest hotel you’ve been to, because it isn’t it - but it definitely is value for money because I couldn’t find anything like it in a 3 mile radius! Absolutely perfect for my needs with a private bedroom and private bathroom - most hostels charge this kind of price for the luxury of an 18 bed dorm ha! Book this if you’re just looking to get your head down for the night - it is absolutely perfect for that purpose. Do not be put off by the reviews.
